Being an expat can be exciting, adventurous—and sometimes, incredibly overwhelming. Whether you’re settling into a new country or have been abroad for years, the emotional ups and downs of international life can take a toll. Join us for a relaxed and meaningful morning where we create space for honest conversation, shared stories, and connection with others who get it.
In this peer-led workshop led by Drew Dockery, AAM member and long time expat, we’ll discuss the unique challenges facing expats as they navigate mental health. We’ll also look at the ways that being abroad impacts our relationships, families, and careers.
Date: Thursday, May 15, 2025
Location: Stonor Park (exact location provided upon RSVP)

Whether you're feeling a bit stuck, just curious, or looking to connect with others walking a similar path, you’re warmly invited. Grab a coffee, bring an open mind, and let’s talk about the stuff we’re often told to “just be grateful for” and “power through.”
