In accordance with AAM’s mission to “Have Fun, Give Back,” we’re highlighting nonprofits throughout the rest of 2026 as well as tying each monthly event to a select charity.

For May, we’ve chosen PAWS Animal Welfare Society.

PAWS is a non-profit, non-governmental organization in Petaling Jaya that’s been caring for abandoned, stray, and unwanted cats and dogs since 1987.

Through the entire month of May, we are collecting canned or dry puppy, dog, kitten, or cat food as well as reusable containers with lids. When you’re out buying groceries, consider throwing a bag or a few cans of food into your cart as well.

No time to shop? You can hand us cash designated for food, containers, or donation at any of our events or through our account (please be sure to mark any deposits for PAWS so we can keep track of it for bookkeeping purposes).
